Pil Customs

Welcome to my online store! I work with teams, businesses and families to create customized apparel and decals show off your style and celebrate your favorite athletes and hobbies.

I specialize in customizing apparel with vinyl, glitter and rhinestones. Check out my silhouette work--I can create custom silhouettes from your photos.

If you are looking for spiritwear or even adding a family name in rhinestones or vinyl, feel free to reach out to me.

Why Choose Us?

I am extremely passionate about this industry. I've attended several webinars as well as Rhinestone University to advance my craft and I have a reputation for creating quality products.

I started this as a hobby, to customize shirts for myself and friends when our daughters started high school Poms.

Other parents wanted customized shirts and began ordering from me and what had been a hobby has quickly grown into a business. When a friend asked me to figure out how to add rhinestones to my apparel, I sought to figure that out. Less than 8 months later, I attended Rhinestone University (yes, it's a real thing and holy cats it was AWESOME!) and I offer a variety of materials to customize apparel for you. I invested in professional machinery and love working with teams or families to create something that you'll be proud to wear.

Recently, my skills have led me to helping with a charity that hits close to our hearts and home. I'm grateful for the training I have received from Rhinestone University to create a unique silhouette of a very special dancer.

About Us

Pilar Harrison

Owner and creative guru

Friends and family are my world. Actually, my friends generally become part of the family. I'm a wife and a mom of two great teenagers. My husband puts up with my goofy, feisty side and generously supports my creativity.  My son is an Eagle Scout and attends Colorado School of Mines (he's smart...like I don't know where he got his brains from smart). Getting an Eagle is so much work for the kid AND the parents that I used to joke that I wanted a Miss America type banner to wear when he finally had his Court of Honor. I settled for a tiara instead (hey, I like my bling!).  My daughter and I are super close--she tells me everything and she's a dancer. She's very driven and pushes herself to reach goals that would be daunting for me, even as an adult. I've always been creative/crafty--I used to create and sew boutique apparel when my kids were toddlers.

When the market crashed in 2008/2009 I went to work evenings at UPS to help out our finances. About 5 years later, my Mom was hospitalized and they let me take FMLA to be at the hospital with her and my Dad everyday. That was a really rough time. After Mom died, I just wanted to spend as much time as possible with family and left my night job. This actually benefitted our family and the kids flourished in school and I got to attend many events that I'd had to miss working nights.

When my daughter decided she wanted to try out for Poms in high school, we started her in dance classes. She met some really sweet girls who had been dancing their entire lives, but still embraced and welcomed her. She made the team, I made a couple shirts for a friend and I to wear to pick the girls up from Pom Camp and my business started from there.

Location

I work with a lot of schools and sports teams/dance and gymnastic teams in Colorado. I'm happy to work with companies or teams in other states, too.
